Dr James Woodcock, from the University of Cambridge, has published on cycling in the top medical and transport journals. He leads projects for the UK research councils and for the Department for Transport (including the Propensity to Cycle Tool) and Public Health England. He has recently been awarded a European Research Council Consolidator Grant.

Dr Mike Brannan is the National Lead for Physical Activity at Public Health England and a registered public health consultant. He was an author of the national physical activity framework, Everybody Active Every Day, and leads the national physical activity team.
