The core aims of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Cycling & Walking:

Vision:  More people cycling and walking in the UK, more often.

Mission:  To use our role as Parliamentarians to promote all forms of cycling and walking.

Values:  As an All-party group of Parliamentarians we will work with representatives of organisations in the private, public, and third sectors that share our vision.

Objectives:  To review research evidence and current best practice, the extent and success of implementation, and potential developments that encourage cycling, and to develop recommendations resulting in changes to government policy and practice at national and local government level, based on these findings.

Key activities undertaken by the All Party Parliamentary Group for Cycling & Walking  (APPGCW) include meetings in parliament, study tours, receptions, an annual summer bike ride and an annual walk.

The APPGCW is registered with the House of Commons.
